Job summary

The Fresh Market is seeking a Produce & Floral Department Lead to support the Produce & Floral Department Manager in delivering extraordinary guest experiences. You will lead with care, coach your team, and ensure the department looks its best while stepping in as acting manager when needed.

This role requires flexibility, strong communication, and a commitment to hospitality and teamwork. You will monitor labor, manage inventory, and collaborate with other department leaders to drive store

Qualifications

• 1+ years of progressive management experience in supermarkets, retail, or related fields.
• Strong leadership to motivate and develop teams.
• Proven ability to deliver exceptional guest experiences while meeting goals.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Basic proficiency with POS systems, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Monitor labor schedules to meet productivity and budget goals.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels and support ordering.
• Provide guidance in the manager's absence.
