Job summary

Harris Teeter is seeking a part-time Produce Clerk to provide exceptional customer service, stock and prepare produce, and support store operations. You will need basic education or experience, good reading and communication in English, and a team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities include maintaining standards, assisting customers, and performing duties such as floral clerk tasks when needed. Must be at least 16 and able to lift up to 60 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English.
• Ability to write simple correspondence in English.
• Must be at least 16 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Take Excellent Care Of Our Customers by satisfying each customer’s needs and exceeding their expectations.
• Maintain product knowledge, prepare and stock produce according to standards, and assist with stocking and packaging.
• Perform floral clerk duties when assigned.
• Assist with cleaning work areas and supporting overall store operations.
