Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with basic math knowledge.
• Be dependable with ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with strong customer interaction skills.
• Good communication and ability to work in a team.
• Maintain department cleanliness and follow safety procedures.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate pallet jack.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Produce Manager in merchandising the department for productivity and profit.
• Handle ordering, inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Produce team.
• Coordinate merchandising and sales through planning, direction, goal setting, communication, and teamwork.
• Maintain freshness standards by proper receiving, processing, pricing, signage, display and rotation.
• Lead a team to deliver top-quality products and exceptional service.
• Assist in hiring, training, and developing the Produce team.
• Unload deliveries and operate produce equipment.
