Job summary

Fresh Thyme Market in Minnesota is seeking a Produce Manager to lead all aspects of the Produce Department, guiding staff, managing sales, margins and labor while delivering friendly, knowledgeable service to customers.

You will oversee scheduling, inventory, ordering, pricing accuracy, and product presentation with a focus on safety and cleanliness; a minimum of 5 years in grocery retail is required, preferably in Produce, with a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 5 years professional experience required.
• Preferred 3–5 years grocery retail experience in Produce.
• Experience in natural foods industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare weekly Produce sales and labor projections to maximize profits.
• Control costs, ordering, inventory, and pricing accuracy.
• Manage Produce Department staff including hiring, training, scheduling.
• Oversee shift operations and department work schedules.
• Ensure in-stock weekly ads and proper product rotation.
• Maintain department cleanliness and safety; assist customers.
