Job summary

Cub in New Brighton, MN is seeking a Produce Manager to plan and manage the produce department, drive sales, meet profit and labor goals, and ensure a safe and positive shopping experience for customers and a supportive work environment for associates.

This role requires overseeing receiving, pricing, inventory, supervision of produce staff, and adherence to safety and sanitation standards while delivering quality, variety, and freshness to our shoppers.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and maintain service levels.
• Plan daily/weekly work based on sales and labor goals.
• Develop merchandising plans to maximize sales and gross profit.
• Supervise produce associates to optimize labor utilization.
• Manage receiving, invoicing, pricing, shrink and inventory.
• Train and develop department personnel.
• Oversee safety and sanitation programs.
• Perform department duties and follow policies.
• Observe security and confidentiality standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
