Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED required.
• 0–2 years of retail experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication, and bookkeeping skills.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Spanish language abilities desirable depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Order and maintain inventory in the department, applying proper markdown procedures to minimize loss and ensure product freshness.
• Review and validate received orders for amount, quality, count or weight, condition, and appropriate storage.
• Manage a team that completes stocking, production, and related tasks to ensure quality, production planning, accuracy, and date rotation.
• Maintain familiarity with products carried in the department and store, including ad items and coupon features.
• Communicate and execute weekly and period Flight Plans according to company expectations and timelines.
• Assist the department manager with scheduling, labor control, overtime, and payroll expense.
