SpartanNash, operating Family Fare stores in Paw Paw, Michigan, seeks a department supervisor to lead daily store operations in the absence of the department manager. You’ll ensure staff coverage, training, and adherence to company standards while meeting KPIs and keeping the department well stocked and guest-ready.

You’ll manage inventory, coordinate scheduling, and supervise a team to uphold product quality, rotate stock, and execute ad promotions.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0-2 years of retail experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication and bookkeeping skills.
• Good organization, prioritization, decision-making, problem solving and conflict management.
• Strong leadership abilities in a hands-on environment.
• Knowledge of retail management systems.
• Spanish language skills are desirable depending on location.

Aufgaben

• Order and maintain inventory in the department, minimizing loss and ensuring freshness.
• Review and validate received orders for amount, quality, and weight.
• Lead a team to stock, produce, and manage tasks to ensure quality and rotation.
• Maintain familiarity with products across the store.
• Know ad items, special prices, and coupon deals.
• Communicate and execute weekly and period flight plans.
• Assist with scheduling, labor control, and payroll for the department.
• Support department manager in staffing, training, performance, and development.
• Attend daily huddles and meetings as required.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked department following Prime Time standards.
• Follow PPE, safety, food safety, and guest experience guidelines.
• Other tasks as needed.
