SpartanNash, Family Fare division in Zeeland, MI, seeks a department operations lead to manage daily store department activities, staff training, and KPI achievement. You will drive inventory control, scheduling, and labor management while upholding safety and food safety standards.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and retail operations knowledge, with experience supervising teams and coordinating with store leadership on promotions and goals.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Two years of retail experience preferred.
• One-year supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication and bookkeeping skills.
• Knowledge of retail management systems and store operations.

Responsabilidades

• Lead day-to-day department operations to meet company goals and KPIs.
• Order and maintain inventory, ensure product freshness and quality.
• Review received orders for amount, quality, count or weight.
• Manage a team handling stocking, production and related tasks.
• Maintain familiarity with products and store promotions.
• Communicate and execute weekly flight plans per guidelines.
• Implement schedules, labor control, overtime and payroll for the department.
• Ensure food safety and general safety guidelines are followed.
• Develop and monitor department goals and forecasts.
• Participate in daily huddles and meetings as required.
