Weis Markets is seeking an Assistant Produce Manager at our Whitehall, PA location. You will support the Produce Manager in daily operations, merchandising, scheduling, and inventory control while delivering outstanding customer service.

You will develop merchandising plans, ensure product freshness, proper pricing, and compliance with company policies. The role emphasizes teamwork, associate development, and meeting department goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor's in business/food service-related field desirable.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in management in retail/restaurant/supermarket environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise department associates and assist Produce Manager in daily operations.
• Merchandising, ad execution, associate engagement and customer service responsibilities.
• Ensure product quality, freshness, proper dating, restocking and inventory controls.
• Assist with scheduling, training and use of LMS to develop associates and maximize department profits.

Education
