Earth Fare Fort Mill is seeking a Produce Team Leader to guide and develop the team in the Produce Department. You will oversee training, merchandising, and daily operations to meet financial goals and maintain high standards of quality and safety.

The role requires knowledge of produce trends, food safety, and customer service excellence, with experience in retail and organic products. This position offers full-time hours and a supportive environment.

Qualifikationen

• Knowledge of produce industry trends and dietary terms.
• Food safety, sanitation and proper storage/display of organic products.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Outlook) and Falcon hand-held scanner.
• Proven success managing shrink, sales, gross-profit and total overhead of a department in a similar environment.
• 2–3 years minimum experience working with produce and natural/organic products.
• 1–2 years minimum experience in a retail or customer service oriented position.
• OSHA ServSafe Certification preferred.

Aufgaben

• Training and development: communicate Earth Fare vision and goals to team members and support staff.
• Production: supervise in-house fruit/vegetable program and ensure proper handling of organic products.
• Operational tasks: ordering/receiving deliveries, scheduling, and reporting; reduce expenses.
• Merchandising: maintain an attractive sales floor per Earth Fare guidelines.
• Department conditions: ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the department.
