Job summary

Kroger Co. Fort Collins is seeking a Produce Department Manager to lead the team, oversee daily operations, and ensure high levels of customer service and product quality.

You will manage scheduling, training, and performance for produce staff while maintaining store standards and safety. Responsibilities include directing receiving, pricing, merchandising, and inventory management, as well as resolving customer issues and implementing company initiatives.

Qualifications

• Flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, nights including weekends/holidays.
• Strong communication with employees, customers and supervision.
• Experience in department operations: managing people, merchandising, scheduling.
• Produce/food preparation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop maximum customer relations by model of friendliness and courtesy.
• Be alert and assist in store security.
• Handle customer complaints.
• Hire, fire, discipline, transfer, and evaluate department personnel.
• Plan and organize the produce department operations.
• Direct receiving, storing, pricing, and merchandising of produce.
