Job summary

The GIANT Company is hiring for a store position at our Hagerstown, MD location. You will participate in the daily operations of the produce department, ensuring products are stocked, rotated, and displayed properly, with attention to food safety and cleanliness.

Responsibilities include shift start prep, scheduling work, training teammates, inventory checks, and maintaining KPI targets while upholding company policies and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to read, write, communicate, and understand to complete job duties and follow policies.
• Must complete the 60-day introductory period.
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements.
• Must be able to use or learn equipment and tools for this job.
• Must perform all job functions safely.
• Must meet performance standards including regular attendance.
• Must wear proper clothes and shoes for this job.
• Must have 1 year of work experience or technical training.
• Must have keyboarding skills.
• Must complete in-house forklift training.
• Must maintain required licenses/certifications for the position.

Responsibilities

• Review work schedule and preparation at shift start.
• Enter orders, schedule work, supervise and train team members.
• Receive, store, stock, check dates, and perform markdowns.
• Achieve KPI targets for the department.
• Clean and sanitize all surfaces and equipment.
• Track losses using known loss tracking (KLT).
