Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Produce Clerk to join our Produce department. You will stock, merchandise and maintain high quality fresh produce, while delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced store environment.

You will be responsible for accurate pricing, tagging, inventory and responding to customer questions with a friendly, helpful attitude. This role requires physical activity, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• Be at least 16 years of age
• Dependable and reliable with ability to work a flexible schedule
• Positive attitude and ability to interact with customers
• Good communication skills and ability to take direction
• Ability to perform repetitious tasks, multitask, prioritize and stay organized
• Able to stand, walk, bend, climb and lift up to 50 lbs., walk up to 5 miles in an 8 hour shift

Responsibilities

• Stock the Produce department and merchandise according to department guidelines
• Maintain product knowledge and ensure accurate pricing and tags
• Provide high level of customer service and assist customers
• Answer customer questions in a friendly and helpful manner
• Proper inventory control to maximize freshness and availability
• Adhere to safety and store policies while performing duties
