Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Produce Clerk to keep the Produce department stocked, fresh, and appealing while delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced store. You will greet customers, answer questions, and ensure pricing accuracy with attention to product quality.

This role requires standing, walking, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs., with flexible scheduling, and a team-oriented attitude to thrive in a busy environment that values health and freshness.

Qualifications

• Be at least 16 years of age.
• Be dependable and reliable with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Respect others and uphold Sprouts diversity, equity and inclusion values.
• Have a positive attitude and interact with customers.
• Good communication skills and ability to take direction and work in a team.
• Able to perform repetitive tasks, multitask, prioritize and stay organized.
• Must stand, walk, bend, climb and lift up to 50 lbs. for extended periods; maneuver carts up to 20 lbs.
• Walk up to 5 miles in an 8 hour shift.
• Adhere to safety, health, OSHA and Weights and Measures regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Stock the Produce department and present products according to department schematics.
• Maintain product knowledge and proper preparation of produce.
• Ensure tag and pricing accuracy and rotate merchandise for freshness.
• Answer customer questions in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Support inventory control and maintain cleanliness and organization.
