Produce Clerk (Administrative)

Come join our Uncle Giuseppe's family as a PT Produce Clerk at our Massapequa store! If you love our food, you will love our produce! In this role, you will collaborate with a team to deliver the finest produce presentation for our customers. All of our produce is fresh and must be handled, prepared, and merchandised properly to deliver the highest level of customer service and satisfaction in our store.

Responsibilities

1. Responsible for stocking the Produce Department, including presentation of product, facing, filling, and organizing items.
2. Ensure proper stocking and rotation of merchandise, including trimming, watering, and merchandising to maintain freshness and quality.
3. Maintain inventory control to maximize product freshness and availability.
4. Answer customer questions in a friendly and helpful manner.
5. Perform other duties and functions as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of math, weights, and measures.
• Dependable and reliable.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor with a positive attitude.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to speak, read, and understand English.
