Job Summary

Sorts, displays, removes, and replenishes fresh fruits and vegetables in the produce department. Maintains the department environment by providing product knowledge and customer service, ensuring all produce meets or exceeds quality standards.

Major Tasks and Responsibilities

• Assist members with product questions and product handling tips.
• Inspect, rotate, and store produce, ensuring quality and freshness.
• Maintain displays, organize storage, and dispose of spoiled products according to guidelines.
• Assist with inventory and order processing, and perform cleaning and signage duties.

Qualifications

• Experience in produce department preferred.
• Knowledge of seasonal fruits and vegetables preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Environmental Conditions

• Frequent movement, bending, lifting up to 30 pounds, and exposure to temperature extremes in a refrigerated environment.

The estimated pay range is $17.75-$21.30, based on location, experience, and qualifications.
