Produce Clerk (Melon Cutter) (Food Services)

Come join our Uncle Giuseppe's family as a PT Produce Clerk (Melon Cutter) at our Massapequa, NY store! If you love our food, you will love our produce! In this role, you will collaborate with a team to deliver the finest produce presentation for our customers. All of our produce is fresh and must be handled, prepared, and merchandised properly to deliver the highest level of customer service and satisfaction in our store.

Responsibilities

1. Prepare fruit salads and cut fruit as directed by our company fruit bowl recipes.
2. Ensure the cleanliness of all work surfaces while carving and cutting fruit.
3. Ensure proper ingredients for each fruit bowl and fruit arrangement, crafting according to the selected recipe.
4. Perform other duties and functions as assigned.

Requirements

1. Must be at least 18 years of age.
2. Basic knowledge of math, weights, and measures.
3. Dependable and reliable.
4. Perform general housekeeping in the department; clean and sanitize work areas (including tables, floors, walls, cases, coolers, freezers, etc.).
5. Adhere to all safety, health, weights, and measures regulations.
