Overview of Responsibilities

As a Produce Clerk at Sprouts Farmers Market – you will be living our name on a daily basis! All of our produce is farm fresh, and must be handled, prepared and merchandised properly to deliver the highest level of customer service and satisfaction in our store. You will be responsible for stocking the Produce department, including presentation, facing, filling, and organizing all product items as per the department schematics, and ensuring tag and pricing accuracy. Proper stocking and rotation of merchandise, including trimming, watering, and merchandising to ensure freshness, are key duties. You will also manage inventory control to maximize product freshness and availability, and assist customers in a friendly manner. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!

Note: Team Members under 18 are restricted from tasks such as using knives (except safety cutters), ladders, operating machinery, working in coolers or freezers for prolonged periods, and operating motorized equipment.

Qualifications

• Be at least 16 years old
• Dependable with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Respectful, with a high standard of ethics within our diversity, equity, and inclusion culture
• Positive attitude and good customer interaction skills
• Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks, multi-task, prioritize, and stay organized
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, lift up to 50 lbs., and maneuver heavy objects and carts as specified
• Ability to walk up to 5 miles during an 8-hour shift
• Adherence to safety, OSHA, and related regulations
• Willingness to perform other duties as assigned
