Job summary

Whole Foods Market Sugar Land is seeking a Produce Team Member to support receiving and prepping product, maintain the Produce floor, and assist customers. You will stock shelves, rotate stock, and ensure displays meet WFM standards while upholding health and safety rules.

No retail experience required; training provided. You will work with team members to deliver friendly, efficient service and contribute to a positive store image, with flexible hours including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Willingness to learn about produce and organic vs conventional growing processes.
• Ability to follow procedures and safety standards.
• Strong attention to detail and customer service focus.

Responsibilities

• Keep cases and shelves clean, stocked, and front-facing.
• Assist with organizing and displaying seasonal items.
• Monitor spoilage and communicate waste.
• Complete required worksheets for spoilage, temperature, and sweep.
• Assist with periodic inventory checks.
• Provide courteous, prompt customer service and answer phones.
• Maximize sales through proper prep, storage, and merchandising.
• Follow health, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Maintain clean, safe working and shopping environment.
• Perform opening/closing duties and ensure pricing accuracy.
• Report safety hazards immediately.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
