Progressive, a leader in risk management and customer service, is seeking a vendor manager within its Procurement organization. You will lead strategic supplier relationships, oversee performance via KPIs, SLAs, scorecards, and business reviews, and drive corrective actions to strengthen value and service outcomes.

A hybrid role requires in-office presence one day per week. You will manage spending, pricing, rebates, credits, and other commercial obligations while supporting renewals,

As a vendor manager in our Procurement organization, you’ll lead strategic supplier relationships to ensure vendors deliver strong performance, value, and service outcomes. You’ll partner with Category Management, internal partners, and suppliers to oversee vendor performance using KPIs, SLAs, scorecards, and business reviews. You’ll monitor service, quality, and contract compliance and drive corrective action plans when needed. In this role, you’ll track spending, pricing, rebates, credits, and other commercial obligations. You’ll identify opportunities for cost savings, service optimization, and continuous improvement. You’ll also support renewals, renegotiations, sourcing events, and supplier transitions. Additionally, you’ll resolve performance and commercial issues and provide leadership with clear reporting on supplier value, risk, and key decisions.

This is a hybrid role, which means you’ll work in the office one day a week.

Minimum qualifications

• High school diploma/GED equivalent or higher and a minimum of five years of experience in contract administration and maintaining vendor relationships or related work experience.
• {OR} Bachelor's degree or higher and a minimum of two years of experience in contract administration and maintaining vendor relationships or related work experience.

Preferred skills

• Previous vendor management experience.
• Experience establishing vendor oversight, including performance reviews, scorecards, KPI’s, SLAs, and quarterly business reviews.
• Working knowledge of the Coupa platform.
• Experience influencing leadership decisions, strong prioritization skills, handling multiple projects simultaneously, and have strong collaboration and relationship building skills.
• Advanced computer skills including MS Office with demonstrated skills in Excel – including the ability to create, manipulate and formulate spreadsheets – including v-look-up, tables, charts and graphing.

Compensation

• $74,000 - $98,700/year.
• Gainshare annual cash incentive payment up to 30% of your eligible earnings based on company performance.
