Cornell University is seeking a Procurement Transformation Manager (CEMI) to lead modernization of procurement operations across Cornell and Weill Cornell Medicine. You will guide cross-functional teams, optimize supplier engagement, and drive data-driven improvements in eProcurement, requisition-to-PO, and contract lifecycle management.

This is a 2-year term with potential extension, based in Ithaca or remote within the United States.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years in procurement, sourcing, or related operations.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects with stakeholders.
• Procurement transformation, processes, or systems implementation.
• Experience managing strategic supplier relationships and negotiations.

Responsabilidades

• Lead Procurement Transformation & Modernization initiatives across CEMI.
• Manage cross-functional projects with stakeholders, suppliers, and tech partners.
• Develop project plans, implementation strategies, and comms plans.
• Redesign business processes and drive continuous improvement.
• Monitor risks, timelines, dependencies, and outcomes; establish metrics.
• Support modernization across eProcurement, intake, requisition-to-PO, CLM.
• Drive supplier and marketplace strategy, including catalog solutions.
• Lead strategic sourcing, RFI/RFP/RFQ processes and contracting efforts.
• Champion change management and stakeholder adoption across the university.
