Job summary

Old Harbor Solutions, LLC currently seeks Procurement Technicians Levels 1–14 to support our Frederick and Bethesda, MD customer with hybrid and remote options available with client authorization.

The role involves preparing contracts, managing documents, QA checks, and data entry across procurement systems while coordinating with vendors and government customers. A clear pathway exists for training and progression within the team.

Qualifications

• US citizen required
• Ability to obtain/maintain a Public Trust clearance
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
• Strong MS Office Suite skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, PowerPoint)
• Excellent analytical, organizational and time management skills
• Experience with teleconference platforms (WebEx, MS Teams, Zoom)

Responsibilities

• Prepares and/or assists in the preparation and verification of contracts and documentation to complete a contract package
• Maintains and retrieves contract documents
• Checks submitted documents for completeness and regulatory compliance
• Prepares, reformats and edits statements of work
• Enters data into tracking and reporting systems
• Completes analytical and fact gathering projects; researches resources
• Creates/updates spreadsheets and contract orders
• Validates receipt of items by reviewing packing slips
• Investigates missing or incomplete orders; enters data into reporting systems
• Maintains records on closed contracts/invoices and coordinates file shipments/retrievals
• Maintains invoice reporting logs and prepares paid/unpaid invoice status reports
• Resolves invoice problems with purchasing agents or contracting officers
• Prepares past performance reports for applicable contracts
• Provides information and assistance to program staff on procurement matters
• Assists with training of new procurement technicians
• Organizes data on procurements, vendors and government customers
• Performs QA on procurement data and suggests improvements
