Job summary

Ultimate Staffing Services in Newark, CA is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead end-to-end procurement operations. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Significant procurement leadership experience within manufacturing, industrial, technology, or related environments.
  • Strong contract negotiation, supplier management, and strategic sourcing experience.
  • Proven success developing and implementing procurement strategies that deliver cost savings and operational improvements.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience with ERP systems; SAP S/4HANA experience preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and Integrated Business Planning processes is a plus.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, asylee, refugee, or otherwise eligible to obtain required U.S. export control authorization.

  • Drive supplier performance across quality, cost, delivery, service, and innovation metrics.
  • Implement proactive sourcing strategies to ensure continuity of supply and minimize risk.
  • Cost Optimization & Performance: Analyze spending trends and identify opportunities for cost reduction and value creation.
  • Establish, track, and report on procurement KPIs to support business decision-making.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives across procurement processes, systems, and best practices.

Compliance & Governance
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and ethical procurement standards.
  • Oversee adherence to FAR/DFAR regulations and required reporting, including ISR submissions.
  • Support supply chain and infrastructure improvement initiatives across the organization.
