ISS Facility Services / Guckenheimer in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Procurement Specialist to supervise the purchase of goods and services for the kitchen and operations, ensuring quality, efficiency, and compliance with company policies.

You will coordinate with vendors and chefs, manage invoices, oversee stock, support inventory, and drive procurement savings initiatives using NetMenu and Freshdesk, with a focus on foodservice operations.

Formación

• 2-5 years in Foodservice Procurement/Supply Chain or related operator/support role.
• Related bachelor’s degree (Finance, Supply Chain, Business, or other).
• Experience in procurement savings initiatives, spend analysis, supplier performance management.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• ERP experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills required.

Responsabilidades

• Complete Net Menu order training.
• Monitors invoices for discrepancies, stock issues, and mispicks.
• Oversees task compliance by receivers and drivers.
• Notifies manager of credits/returns for processing.
• Creates placeholders in NetMenu for non-EDI vendors; follows ordering procedures.
• Orders all necessary kitchen products: perishables, non-perishables, supplies.
• Updates/tracks MOGS and order guides on NetMenu and Freshdesk.
• Supports leadership in inventories and inventory compilation.
• Analyzes product waste and transfers via transfer sheets.
• Ensures proper storage, rotation, and stocking of products.
• Monitors kitchen temperature logs for accuracy.
• Complies with ISS standards including health, sanitation, and safety.

The hourly pay range for this position is $27.00 per year - $32.00 per year .Work HoursThe work hours for this position are Mon-Fri, 5:00 am - 1:30 pm.Job Description:Under the general supervision of the Procurement Manager, performs various tasks in supervising the purchase of goods and services while maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency, and compliance with company policies and procedures. Work involves communication with vendors and chefs on all aspects of procurement.Duties/Responsibilities:Complete Net Menu order trainingMonitors all invoices for discrepancies, out of stocks , and mispicks.Ensures tasks by times are being followed by receivers.Supervises drivers picking up products; as well as other teams.Ensures quality standards of all received productNotifies the manager of any credit/ returns that need to be processed.Creates all placeholders in Netmenu for Non EDI Vendors, follows all ordering procedures.Orders all necessary product for kitchen including: Perishables/ non-perishables, supplies, and other areas of the operationUpdating/ tracking MOGS and order guides on Netmenu, and Freshdesk.Supports leadership in conducting inventories, and putting together inventory.Analyzes and controls product waste and transfers through transfer sheets.Maximize proper procedures for storing, rotating and stocking productMonitors temperature logs of kitchen for accuracy.Follows and complies, or ensures compliance with ISS company standards including health and sanitation, and work safety practices.Qualifications2-5 years in Foodservice Procurement/Supply Chain or working as an operator or within a support role to operators of foodservice establishmentsRelated bachelor’s degree (Finance, Supply Chain, Business, other)Experience in conducting procurement savings initiatives, spend analysis, supplier performance management, and other procurement programStrong knowledge of MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.Must be a team player and committed to working in a quality environmentExcellent verbal, written, and organizational skills requiredERP experience preferredDemonstrated exceptional customer service skillsEmotional Maturity: Ability to build constructive relationships to influence internal and external stakeholders.HSEQ Compliance: All employees must adhere to Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) policies and procedures to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.
