Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in the United States is seeking a Procurement & Submittals Manager to drive RFQ for capital equipment, manage PO change control, and optimize supplier qualification for AWS Power and Cooling systems.

You will work with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely design approvals and cost-effective procurement. The role requires 5+ years in procurement or supply chain, strong data analysis skills (Excel/SQL/Tableau), and the ability to navigate a fast-paced,

Qualifications

5+ years in procurement, supply chain, contract management or related ops.
Experience with vendor negotiations and global contract management.
Bachelor's degree in a technical or business field; MBA/related masters preferred.

Responsibilities

Generate RFQ according to forecasted demand and scope.
Manage end-to-end PO change management and funding reallocation.
Collaborate with stakeholders to drive change management and risk mitigation.
Develop and track KPIs; monitor supplier drawing and spec approvals.
Support construction, commissioning of power, HVAC, generators and transformers.
Travel approx. 5% to sites and supplier locations.
Provide status updates on projects and deliverables to stakeholders.
