Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Sr. Global Category Manager for AWS Power and Cooling (PAC) Procurement and Supply Chain.

The position requires deep supplier management, cross-functional collaboration with engineering and operations, and travel up to 20% to meet business demands.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements.
  • 5+ years of professional or military experience.
  • 5+ years of working with Core Cloud Technology Services including Compute, Edge, Hybrid, Security, and/or Networking.
  • 5+ years of working with Data & AI related technologies, knowledge of AWS services is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage global sourcing and supply chain strategies.
  • Drive cross-functional projects and supplier capacity modeling.
  • Understand demand and position supply to support AWS scale in short- and long-term horizons.
  • Engage with global supply chain counterparts to implement best practices.
  • Lead NPI and value-engineering initiatives with engineering teams.
  • Monitor supplier performance and lead times to meet AWS requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for sustainable, scalable advantages in your category.
