Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a motivated Procurement Manager for data center construction procurement. You will own end-to-end commercial relationships with general contractors, drive sourcing events, negotiate contracts, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver on time and within budget.

You will analyze cost/risk, develop procurement playbooks, and shape how AWS procures data center projects globally, while embracing AWS leadership principles and an entrepreneurial mindset.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of procurement, supply chain, contract management or related operations experience.
• Experience with vendor negotiations and global contract management is required.
• Experience with data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau or Python is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive sourcing events, develop RFP strategies, evaluate contractor qualifications and lead award recommendations for large construction programs.
• Negotiate and manage contracts; structure amendments, negotiate change orders and ensure cost, schedule and safety commitments.
• Partner cross-functionally with Construction, Design, Legal, Finance, and Program Management to remove blockers and align on delivery milestones.
