Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 5 years procurement/contract administration experience.
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work with project managers, engineers, clients, suppliers and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Manage the subcontract life cycle for assigned projects.
• Support clients in procurement processes.
• Draft and issue RFP packages to suppliers/subcontractors.
• Negotiate terms including indemnities, warranties, liabilities, pricing, schedule.
• Create purchase orders in internal vendor management systems.
• Track material orders and deliveries in vendor systems.
• Expedite suppliers/subcontractors/engineering input as appropriate.
• Coordinate with engineering project managers, suppliers, contractors and client personnel.
• Assist in evaluation of proposals from suppliers/subcontractors.
• Perform risk assessments on subcontracts.
• Monitor and evaluate contract performance.
• Record keeping/document control with audit involvement.
• Processing vendor invoices for payment.
