Job summary

Reworld Solutions, LLC is seeking a Procurement Specialist to manage local/regional procurement from supplier qualification to performance management. You will lead RFP processes, negotiate contracts, place and expedite orders, and drive cost reduction while ensuring policy compliance.

The role collaborates with Operations, Engineering, and Maintenance, developing internal training on procurement systems and reporting KPIs. Travel up to 25% may be required across the South Region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree highly preferred (Supply Chain, Finance, or technical discipline).
• ISM and/or APICS certification is highly desired but not required.
• 5+ years of relevant procurement and supply management experience is required.
• Knowledge of procurement contracting legal aspects, risk management, warranty, and liability.
• Willing to travel up to 25% to Reworld facilities throughout the South Region.

Responsibilities

• Supplier qualification and relationship management.
• RFP creation, bid receipt, market comparisons, evaluation and negotiations.
• Coordinate and participate in bid review conferences/walk downs.
• Finalization activities including negotiations and contract awards.
• Purchase order placement and expediting.
• Drive total cost reduction initiatives and support supplier quality programs.
• Provide training on procurement systems and support KPI reporting.
• Manage supplier interface and participate in regional meetings.
• Lead activities of facility personnel in defining scope of supply.
• Source maintenance parts across facilities to optimize shared inventory.
