HyperLight Corporation is seeking a Procurement Specialist to manage day-to-day shipping, receiving, inventory control, purchasing, and material movement in support of our TFLN photonics manufacturing. You will issue and track POs, source suppliers, negotiate terms, monitor orders, and ensure on-time delivery while maintaining ERP records and supporting cost-saving initiatives.

Authorization to work in the US is required.

Competenze

• 2+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or a related field.
• Experience creating and managing purchase orders in an ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor relationship management skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in PO processing, documentation, and data entry.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work independently and cross-functionally.
• Experience purchasing electronic components, manufacturing materials, or technical products preferred.
• Familiarity with domestic and international shipping, import/export documentation, and logistics processes preferred.
• Experience in a technical hardware or manufacturing environment (semiconductors, photonics, electronics, or advanced manufacturing) preferred.
• Familiarity with ITAR/EAR export regulations a plus.
• APICS CPIM or equivalent supply chain certification is a plus.

Mansioni

• Create, process, and manage purchase orders for materials, components, supplies, and services throughout the full PO lifecycle.
• Source suppliers and obtain competitive quotes; compare pricing, lead times, availability, and terms.
• Communicate with vendors on pricing, status, lead times, and delivery schedules; maintain supplier relationships.
• Monitor open POs and follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery; escalate risks as needed.
• Assist with sourcing alternative suppliers and substitute materials when primary sources are unavailable.
• Review and resolve invoice discrepancies in coordination with Finance and Logistics.
• Maintain supplier records, pricing history, and procurement documentation in ERP; prepare reports.
• Support Senior Manager in strategic sourcing processes, RFQ/RFP, and supplier evaluation.
• Uphold ethics and anti-bribery policies; ensure fair and transparent vendor dealings.
• Coordinate domestic and international shipments; prepare shipping docs and liaise with carriers.
• Receive and verify incoming materials; enter receipts into ERP; perform cycle counts and stock checks.
• Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes and reduce costs.
