Radford University is seeking a Procurement Specialist in the Procurement & Contracts department to administer the contract database, manage forms, and serve as Records Retention Officer. The role includes generating reports and overseeing funds handling, with support to Procurement Officers as needed.

Experience providing excellent customer service with the capability to identify and resolve problems/issues in a timely manner. Detail-oriented with experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Experience providing administrative support. Demonstrated excellent computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft including Excel, Word, Outlook and databases. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to relate well with a variety of people. Work independently and in a team environment.
Working within a procurement environment with working knowledge of Virginia's e-Procurement Solution (eVA) or comparable electronic procurement platforms. Acquainted with the Commonwealth of Virginia's Purchasing Manual of Higher Education and its Vendors, along with the relevant Governing Rules. Proficient in utilizing databases, spreadsheets, PowerPoint, navigating websites, and developing forms.
