Job summary

Impact Environmental Group in Elgin, IL is seeking a Buyer to ensure our production facilities have materials, parts and services available when needed to meet customer requirements.

You will source parts, manage suppliers, monitor inventory, and analyze procurement data to drive cost, quality, and delivery improvements, while collaborating with operations to minimize equipment downtime. This role requires a minimum of 2 years in procurement and familiarity with MRP systems such as IQMS.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of procurement experience in manufacturing.
• Familiarity with Supply Chain Best Practices.
• Experience with MRP systems (IQMS) and procurement tools.

Responsibilities

• Source parts and procure materials for repairs and production support.
• Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality and reliable delivery.
• Oversee inventory and place orders to maintain availability.
• Analyze procurement data to drive cost, quality and delivery improvements.
• Collaborate with operations and other departments to minimize downtime.
