Job summary

Woof is seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to source, purchase, and manage raw materials, packaging, and indirect supplies. This role partners with Product Development, Finance, and suppliers to ensure timely, cost-effective material availability with strong data analysis and supplier relationships.

Reporting to Supply Chain, you will optimize cost, lead times, and quality across multiple locations, while supporting onboarding and KPI tracking in NetSuite. A love of dogs helps!

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of procurement, purchasing, or supply chain experience.
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite or a similar ERP system.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, suppliers, and open orders simultaneously.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage purchase orders based on production forecasts and inventory requirements.
• Monitor open purchase orders and ensure timely supplier deliveries.
• Resolve order discrepancies, shortages, and invoice issues.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records within Netsuite.
• Track supplier lead times, MOQs, capacity constraints, and communicate changes.
• Run RFQs and compare supplier quotes to optimize total cost and lead time.
• Source and evaluate alternative suppliers for high-cost or capacity-constrained materials.
• Maintain a sourcing risk matrix and support alternate-source strategies.
• Assist in supplier onboarding, including terms, MOQs, pricing, and NetSuite setup.
• Obtain quotes and other commercial commitments; track procurement KPIs.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal partners to resolve issues.
• Maintain supplier scorecards and support reviews.
• Collaborate with Production Planning, Manufacturing, and Finance on launches.
