Precision Castparts Corp. (PCC) in Irvine, CA is seeking a Procurement Specialist - Level 1 for our aerospace manufacturing environment. You will manage materials, supplies, and services critical to operations, ensuring on-time delivery and cost objectives.

Headquartered in Irvine, CA, Shur-Lok manufactures fastening systems with superior locking devices for critical requirements, including engine module assembly, structural assembly, rotor blade attachment, and aircraft engine shaft and spindle applications. Operations at the Irvine location include CNC Machining, CNC Waterjet Cutting, Laser Marking, Heat Treating, NDT, and EDM.
The Procurement Specialist - Level 1 will perform purchasing duties in a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment. This role is critical in supporting on-time delivery, quality, and cost objectives by managing the procurement of materials, supplies, and services essential to operations.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. Work will be performed in an office environment. Essential job functions may occasionally require the employee to enter the shop floor. Employee will be required to follow all safety procedures in the Office and shop floor environments, and employees will never be required to do anything without the proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $21 to $32.25 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company's Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company's bonus multiple, based on the Company's performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will receive 80 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company's 401(k) plan.
This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations (including, but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)).
