Job summary

Wonder, based in New Jersey, is looking for a Procurement Associate to join our cross-functional merchant, forecasting and warehouse teams. You will ensure raw materials arrive on time and meet specifications, building strong vendor relationships and overseeing purchase orders in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

The hybrid role requires 3 days in the office weekly, with flexibility to be onsite up to five days.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a supply chain role, preferably in foodservice or retail.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Excellent project management and leadership.
• Sense of urgency with high attention to detail.
• Fast learner who can grasp concepts quickly.
• Self-starter who seeks answers and information.
• Comfort with a fast-paced environment and pivots.

Responsibilities

• Develop & maintain positive relationships with supplier partners via email, virtual meetings & direct calls.
• Sustain proper inventory levels by evaluating/submitting purchase orders & ensuring they are delivered on time.
• Address & rectify any quality concerns of raw materials with culinary & operational teams.
• Communicate forecasting changes to supplier partners.
• Work cross-functionally to meet launch dates of new raw materials.
• Evaluate reporting to minimize waste at production & distribution facilities.
