Shultz Steel Company is seeking a procurement professional to manage requisitions, vendor communications, and purchase orders. You will ensure proper signatures, track deliveries, and maintain procurement records in CMMS/ERP systems.

The role requires ability to work cross-functionally in a high-volume manufacturing environment and to coordinate with Receiving and users to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedures.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
• Knowledge of CMMS (IMaint) and ERP (Syteline) software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsabilités

• Reviews requisitions and verifies authorization signatures on forms.
• Confers with vendors to obtain price, availability, and delivery schedules.
• Prepares purchase orders and obtains signatures.
• Follow up on orders and update deliveries in the system.
• Set up and negotiate new vendors and payment terms.
• Receive notices from Receiving departments when goods are delivered.
• Maintain procurement records: items, vendors, costs, delivery.
• Discuss defective or unacceptable goods and services to determine corrective action.
• Expedite delivery of goods to users.
