Job summary

Zobility in Michigan is seeking a procurement professional to purchase materials, services, rentals, and related items, ensuring compliance with company policies and insurance requirements.

You will develop RFQs, manage contracts and PO changes, verify invoices against contracts, negotiate with vendors to expedite delivery, and support reporting and data analysis to keep projects on track while maintaining source document filing. This position is onsite with 3 days per week in the office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Degree in Supply Chain Management preferred.
• 1–3 years of purchasing experience.
• Excellent written and spoken communication.
• Proficient with computers and standard office software.
• On-site position requiring 3 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Purchases materials, services, rentals and related items per the Policies and Procedures of Supply Chain Management including appropriate Terms and Conditions and Insurance.
• Ensures that documentation is secured to trigger payment for contracted labor and services for fixed price milestone payment contracts (SAP).
• Develops requests for proposals. Implements contracts and purchase orders, including change order management.
• Ensures invoices are consistent with the commercial contract for contracted labor and services.
• Negotiates with vendors to expedite the manufacture and delivery of materials and services.
• Compiles, calculates, interprets data and issues reports using various computer systems. Supports client work activities and priorities.
• Maintains and files source documents.
• Resolves material quality issues.
• Processes supplier prequalification documentation.
• Assists Category Manager and Buyer in the development of contracts and master service agreements.
