FF&E Procurement Specialist (Interior Design related)

IN-Office. This is not a hybrid position. Local applicants only.

Role Description

STANTONIC’s highly creative studio, located in the convenient Forest Park suburb of Chicago, is seeking an experienced FF&E Procurement Specialist to join our Interior Design team. This role supports multifamily and hospitality projects across all phases of design and delivery and is ideal for a procurement professional who understands the pace, complexity, and coordination required for large‑scale multifamily and hospitality interiors.

What You’ll Do
  • Manage FF&E procurement for multifamily and hospitality projects, from budgeting and sourcing through purchasing, delivery, and closeout.
  • Lead vendor sourcing efforts, bid reviews, and proposal evaluations to ensure alignment with design intent, schedules, and project budgets.
  • Coordinate and support contract negotiations with manufacturers, dealers, and professional service providers.
  • Serve as a primary liaison between designers, project managers, vendors, and consultants throughout the procurement process.
  • Develop, review, and manage FF&E specifications, scopes of work, and purchasing documentation.
  • Track vendor performance, lead times, logistics, and spending to support efficient and successful project execution.
  • Conduct market research on pricing, availability, lead times, and emerging FF&E trends.
  • Support strategic sourcing initiatives and assist with procurement planning for large-scale purchasing efforts.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records using ERP or purchasing systems and prepare procurement status reports as needed.
Qualifications
  • Associate’s Degree with 5+ years of procurement or purchasing experience or Bachelor’s Degree with 3+ years of experience.
  • Proven experience in FF&E procurement for multifamily, hospitality, or commercial interior projects.
  • Experience with contract negotiation, vendor management, and strategic sourcing.
  • Proficiency with procurement systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
