Our highly creative studio located in the convenient Forest Park suburb of Chicago has an opening for a creative mid-to-senior level Interior Designer for our Hospitality focused design firm. This position is fully in-office, not remote. Experience in hospitality and multi-unit residential design is required and project management skills is a plus. As a Hospitality Interior Designer at STANTONIC you will be an integral part of our small team using your design experience in collaborating on the conceptual and schematic design processes and seeing projects through the duration of construction. The ideal candidate will thrive in a small firm setting. You’re highly creative, have strong Cad and Revit skills, knowledge of drawing sets and finish schedules, you're detail oriented, and aren't afraid to think outside the box.
6 years minimum of relevant hospitality and/or multifamily design experience required. This position is for Chicago-land applicants only. No relocation assistance offered.
You will be responsible for collaborating on the design of complex interior design projects, both new construction and renovation, mostly in the hospitality and multi-unit residential sectors (hotels, high-rises, and clubhouse communities). Site measurements and existing conditions documentation, graphic presentations including formatting and 3D renderings, and development of drawing files for highly creative design projects. You’ll develop and manage interior design drawing documents from concept through construction drawings. REVIT proficiency is a must. You will work collaboratively with STANTONIC team members, clients, consultants, contractors, vendors and others to produce and coordinate design construction documents. You’ll report directly to the Studio Director of the firm.
