Job summary

The ideal candidate brings 7+ years in procurement and strong negotiation, vendor management, and data analysis skills to improve cost, quality, and supply chain performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field.
• 7+ years of procurement, sourcing, or purchasing experience.
• Experience developing and managing category strategies.
• Experience leading cross-functional sourcing projects in a complex organization.
• Strong supplier relationship management including qualification and performance management.
• Experience conducting RFI, RFP, and RFQ processes.
• Proven contract negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category sourcing strategies aligned with objectives.
• Analyze spend, trends, supplier capabilities, and cost drivers to identify savings.
• Research, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers; support supplier qualification.
• Lead sourcing projects across multiple business units; align timelines and stakeholders.
• Manage competitive sourcing events including RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to improve value and performance.
• Monitor supplier performance across cost, quality, delivery, and sustainability.
• Conduct supplier business reviews and implement corrective actions.
• Partner with operations, engineering, finance, and leadership to translate needs.
• Drive continuous improvement and digital procurement initiatives.

Job Details

1. Develop and execute category sourcing strategies aligned with business and operational objectives.
2. Analyze spend, market trends, supplier capabilities, and cost drivers to identify savings and risk reduction opportunities.
3. Research, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers while supporting supplier qualification initiatives.
4. Lead sourcing projects across multiple business units, ensuring alignment on timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations.
5. Manage competitive sourcing events including RFI, RFP, and RFQ processes.
6. Negotiate contracts, pricing agreements, and supplier terms to improve value and operational performance.
7. Monitor supplier performance across cost, quality, delivery, innovation, and sustainability metrics.
8. Conduct supplier business reviews and implement corrective action plans when needed.
9. Partner with operations, engineering, finance, and leadership teams to translate business requirements into sourcing strategies.
10. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and identify opportunities for process optimization and digital procurement tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or a related field.
• 7+ years of procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or purchasing experience.
• Experience developing and managing category strategies.
• Background leading cross-functional sourcing projects in a complex organization.
• Strong supplier relationship management experience, including supplier qualification and performance management.
