Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Sourcing Manager to lead strategic sourcing initiatives across major spend categories. You will develop category strategies, manage supplier relationships, and negotiate complex contracts to protect company interests.

The role requires 8+ years in strategic sourcing, strong negotiation skills, and experience with ERP systems (SAP, Coupa, Oracle). A hybrid work schedule in a large North American organization is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in strategic sourcing or category management.
• Demonstrated success achieving cost savings and mitigating supply risk.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Experience with technical spend categories, preferably electrical apparatus or components.
• Familiarity with ERP/procurement systems (SAP, Coupa, Oracle).
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder-influencing abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives including requirements definition, market analysis, supplier evaluation, and selection.
• Develop and maintain category strategies that balance cost savings, supply assurance, risk management, quality, and service.
• Negotiate complex contracts and commercial agreements to protect company interests while fostering strong supplier partnerships.
• Manage supplier performance, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.Collaborate with engineering, operations, finance, and other stakeholders to drive procurement best practices.
• Analyze market trends and supply chain risks to inform sourcing decisions and long-term planning.
• Support departmental KPIs, performance metrics, and continuous improvement efforts.

The Sourcing Manager plays a key role in driving strategic sourcing initiatives across major spend categories. This role requires a candidate who is very strong in strategic sourcing, with proven experience developing category strategies, managing supplier relationships, and negotiating complex contracts.
