Job summary

Jobot is seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Agent to manage supplier relationships and negotiate pricing to ensure timely procurement of materials for a fast-paced industrial operation. The role works closely with operations, inventory teams, and internal stakeholders to maintain stock levels and support company goals.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. Candidates should have at least 2 years in purchasing or procurement, with experience in industrial environments and strong Excel/ERP/MRP

Qualifications

• 2+ years of purchasing, procurement, buying, or supply chain experience.
• Experience in industrial, manufacturing, logistics, distribution, or warehouse environments preferred.
• Knowledge of vendor management, inventory control, and purchase order processes.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ERP/MRP systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

• Track orders and resolve shipping, delivery, or quality issues.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and supplier documentation.

• Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
