Alvarez & Marsal seeks an Associate in Procurement & Sourcing within its Private Equity Performance Improvement (PEPI) practice. OPEN TO ALL U.S. LOCATIONS. You will lead sourcing initiatives, design procurement strategies, and collaborate with PE teams to improve portfolio company value.

Role emphasizes broad supply chain work, strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and execution across multiple client engagements. Strong analytical and presentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2-4+ years of consulting or industry experience
• Previous advisory experience from a top-tier strategy firm or Big-4 REQUIRED
• Industry experience in direct and/or indirect sourcing and procurement
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Admin, Economics, Finance or related fields
• MBA/Master’s degree preferred
• Experience managing direct and/or indirect categories
• Proven track record leading sustainable strategic sourcing approaches
• Excellent fact-gathering and analytical skills

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver project work streams for complex client engagements with PE teams
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned to growth and financial objectives
• Lead supplier identification, negotiations, and vendor relations
• Develop implementation plans to drive procurement and sourcing changes
• Conduct analysis as required by project scope
• Collaborate across PEPI services (Supply Chain, M&A, CFO) to add value
