Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an entry-level Procurement Associate to support purchasing, inventory management, and vendor coordination. You will handle purchase orders, maintain vendor data, and ensure orders meet customer requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• No experience required.
• Able to procure MRO, COTS, and vendor engineering products.
• Able to coordinate with production and vendors to meet customer requirements.
• Able to generate, process, maintain, and troubleshoot purchase orders.
• Able to enter, maintain, and manage vendor item databases.
• Maintain inventory according to governance plan.
• Process vendor invoices.
• Attend required trainings and meetings.

Responsibilities

• Support the supply chain through procurement of goods and services.
• Maintain supply inventory levels for effective company operation.
• Coordinate vendor compliance with customer requirements.
• Conduct regular price and lead-time comparisons.
• Procure MRO products, COTS products, and vendor engineering products.
• Coordinate with production and vendors to ensure customer requirements can be met.
• Generate, process, maintain, and troubleshoot purchase order requisitions and purchase orders.
• Communicate daily with Purchasing Staff and Production about open purchase orders.
• Enter, maintain, and manage the vendor item database.
