Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Vendor Operations professional in Austin, TX. You will guide global vendors from onboarding through operational readiness, develop performance dashboards, and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure SLA compliance.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in vendor management or procurement operations.
• Experience with global service providers across multiple time zones.
• Proven track record building performance measurement frameworks and tracking systems.
• Background in data center operations, facilities management, IT services, or infrastructure services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Guide new global vendors through the complete setup from contract to operational readiness.
• Conduct vendor orientation sessions covering systems, protocols, escalation procedures, and daily workflows.
• Coordinate collection and validation of required legal, tax, compliance, and security documentation before work authorization.
• Create and maintain onboarding checklists, tracking templates, and vendor readiness dashboards.
• Establish initial communication cadences and operational rhythms with new vendor teams.
• Work with IT, Security, Procurement, and Legal to provision system access and clearances.
• Build and maintain regular performance reports tracking vendor speed, quality, cost efficiency, and SLA compliance.
• Monitor SLAs across active vendors, flag breaches and track resolution.
• Develop vendor scorecards providing objective assessments of performance.
