Job summary

Long Home is seeking an Ordering Specialist to support the Operations team by managing project purchase orders and reconciling orders. The role focuses on material orders, tracking delivery, and maintaining CRM records to ensure timely project delivery.

The candidate should have strong data entry, customer service, and organizational skills, with experience in order processing and logistics. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Savage, MD.

Qualifications

• Ability to handle upset customers and show empathy for their situations.
• Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience with data entry and order processing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review project to contract/agreement and measure sheets for accuracy.
• Generate purchase orders for installation and service project materials.
• Navigate distributor portals to place orders and identify order status.
• Order addendum/change order materials as needed.
• Review and reconcile material order acknowledgments.
• Upload order acknowledgments to the CRM.
• Track delivery dates for materials in the CRM.
• Coordinate with other departments on client-related matters.
