• Experience in purchasing, inventory, logistics, manufacturing, supply chain, or operations—or you may be looking for the opportunity to put your education and analytical skills to work in a hands-on business environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with purchasing and replenishment based on inventory, demand, and production needs. Track purchase orders, supplier confirmations, lead times, and delivery dates.
• Communicate with suppliers about pricing, availability, order status, and timing. Help evaluate supplier pricing, performance, and reliability and maintain accurate purchasing and supplier information.
• Monitor inventory and help identify shortages, excess inventory, and slow-moving products. Analyze inventory levels and help determine what we need and when we need it.
• Assist with production planning based on demand, inventory, orders, and available capacity. Help maintain and analyze forecasts.
• Analyze production data to uncover trends and opportunities. Compare performance across production lines, shifts, products, and time periods.
• Cost Analysis: Analyze purchasing, freight, inventory, and production costs. Monitor pricing changes. Assist with supplier and cost comparisons.
