Job summary

Orthodontic Experts is seeking a Procurement Manager to oversee purchasing, inventory replenishment, and supply chain logistics across our clinic network. You will lead sourcing, contract negotiations, and vendor performance while ensuring cost-effective operations and compliance.

You will collaborate with Finance, VP Operations & HR, and off-site staff to optimize procurement lifecycle from sourcing to renewal, driving reductions in waste and costs across locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, finance, or a closely related field.
• Several years of procurement/inventory management experience across multiple sites.
• Proven ability to reduce costs through strategic sourcing and negotiations.
• Experience implementing or optimizing inventory management systems.
• Strong data analysis and forecasting skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and vet reliable suppliers based on pricing, quality, delivery times, service levels, and scalability.
• Lead commercial negotiations to secure favorable terms, volume discounts, pricing protections, and SLAs.
• Build long-term partnerships with key suppliers, conduct regular performance reviews, and resolve disputes.
• Support implementation of inventory management software across the organization, including system selection and process development.
• Establish standardized inventory processes across clinics, including controls, ordering, receiving, storage, and tracking.
• Set minimum/maximum inventory levels and monitor to minimize excess stock and carrying costs.
• Conduct regular inventory audits to validate counts and improve accuracy.
• Partner with Finance to provide inventory data, spend reporting, and valuation for planning.
• Analyze purchasing data and supplier spend to identify cost-saving opportunities and standardize purchases.
• Demonstrate measurable annual reductions in costs through negotiations and procurement standardization.
