Job summary

The Springs Living is seeking a strategic Procurement Manager to lead sourcing, vendor management, and purchasing across our senior living communities in the Beaverton area.

You will partner with Operations, Facilities, Finance, Design, and community leaders to drive procurement excellence, standardization, and sustainable cost savings while enhancing resident and team member experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 5+ years in procurement, sourcing, or vendor management.
• Proven ability to negotiate contracts and drive supplier performance.
• Strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in multi-site environments; healthcare/senior living is a plus.
• Proficient with MS Office and procurement/ERP systems.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to travel periodically in the Pacific Northwest region.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for operating goods, services, equipment, furnishings, and facilities.
• Lead competitive bids, supplier evaluations, contract negotiations, and vendor selection.
• Manage vendor relationships, performance reviews, compliance, renewals, and issue resolution.
• Identify opportunities for standardization and portfolio-wide purchasing efficiencies.
• Develop procurement policies, standards, workflows, and reporting tools.
• Analyze spending trends, track savings, and support budgeting and capital planning.
• Partner with Operations, Facilities, Finance, Design, and community leaders on acquisitions.

Position Summary:

The Springs Living is seeking a strategic and collaborative Procurement Manager to lead sourcing, vendor management, and purchasing initiatives across our growing portfolio of senior living communities. This role partners closely with Operations, Facilities, Finance, Design, and community leaders to drive procurement excellence, strengthen vendor accountability, improve consistency, and deliver sustainable cost savings while enhancing the resident and team member experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for operational goods, services, equipment, furnishings, and facilities-related categories
• Lead competitive bid processes, supplier evaluations, contract negotiations, and vendor selection
• Manage vendor relationships, performance reviews, compliance requirements, contract renewals, and issue resolution
• Identify opportunities for standardization, vendor consolidation, and portfolio-wide purchasing efficiencies
• Develop and maintain procurement policies, purchasing standards, workflows, and reporting tools
• Analyze spending trends, track savings initiatives, and support budgeting and capital planning efforts
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support acquisitions, new community openings, and operational growth

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain, vendor management, or contract administration
• Proven success negotiating contracts and managing supplier performance
• Strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills
• Experience in multi-site organizations preferred; senior living, healthcare, hospitality, facilities, or property management experience is a plus
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and procurement, ERP, or financial systems
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to travel periodically throughout Oregon, Washington, and Montana
