Job summary

Safariland, LLC seeks a Project Coordinator in Carlsbad, NM to oversee project coordination, procurement support, material control, logistics and equipment management for customer contracts. You will manage documentation, schedule deliveries, and serve as a primary contact for customer communications.

Responsibilities include MTE program control, PO quality reviews, inbound/outbound shipments, inventory control, and coordinating preventive maintenance with vendors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent education.
• Manufacturing experience.
• 2 years' experience with procurement, material control and receiving activities.
• 4 years' experience with running cranes and forklifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead project managements for the MgO Contract, including scheduling truck deliveries to the WIPP site, managing data packages, and coordinating customer communications.
• M&TE Coordinator, responsible for generating purchase requisitions for calibration, maintaining the M&TE database, and controlling all M&TE.
• Performing technical and quality reviews of all purchase orders before they are issued to vendors.
• Coordinating all inbound and outbound shipments.
• Receiving, identifying, and controlling all materials and parts for EPD.
• Issuing material and parts to the shop floor (via traveler).
• Serving as the Forklift and Crane Trainer for EPD.
• Coordinating all shop floor supplies.
• Working with vendors to coordinate preventive maintenance for the shop air compressor, forklifts, skid steer, man lifts, and other equipment.
